Rare and very interesting vintage Pirate Sword Prop from Disney Studios. Sword is well made, studio aged and distressed. Blade and hilt are made of metal. Grip is made of wood and has been painted black by production. Comes directly from Walt Disney Studio Archives. Overall very good condition. (See pics) Shows signs of wear from age, use in production, and storage. Some small cracks in the wood grip, but grip is still very much intact. Comes with copy Certificate of Authenticity. This vintage pirate sword was likely used in Disney theme park attractions including Pirate of the Caribbean and Skull Rock Cove. The wardrobes and props on the animatronic figures on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride have been changed out frequently. Blade and hilt are made of metal. Some light rust on the metal blade. Grip is made of white resin with wood and metal accents. Some damage is present to the grip, so small chips to the white resin and wood. Comes directly from Walt Disney Studio Archives. Sword still has Walt Disney Studios Props Department barcode on grip.
