Up for sale is a pair of used Disney Pirates of the Caribbean bookends featuring 2 of the original pirates from the Disneyland and Disney World ride. (Disneyland, 2005) A pair of limited edition (1000 made) bookends created for the 50th anniversary of Disneyland. These bookends feature two of the familiar pirates from the attraction: the affectionately named “Pooped-Pirate” and “Hairy Leg Pirate”. While in more recent years, the Pooped-Pirate has had Captain Jack Sparrow peeking out from the barrel behind him, this bookend depicts the original version where he is exhausted from chasing “light-footed wenches” as the woman hides in the barrel behind him. Pirates of the Caribbean Treasure Room Jewelry Original Prop Disneyland. This original jewelry treasure prop was used in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. A very rare and unique prop that was custom made for the attraction and used in the Treasure Room and also the Pirate Grotto (Dean Man’s Cove). This treasure prop was used throughout 1990s and 2000s. Measures 25″ long and 2 1/2″ wide. This mixed media treasure prop was masterfully created for the production. Simulated blue gem stones and pearls and strung together with large light blue simulated gem stones mounted on ornate metal settings. Piece had been made to look aged by production.
