1963 Rogues Gallery Pirates of the Caribbean Concept Art Disneyland Giclee D23

This is a cool piece of VERY early art for the Pirate’s of the Caribbean. Before it was a moving ride, like the Haunted Mansion, Pirates was originally to be a walk through “Wax Museum” attraction. It would have been called The Rogue’s Gallery. This concept art is a giclee print, mounted on canvas, art by Bruce Bushman. The art is sharp and colors are vivid. Disney recently features this art for the 50th birthday of Pirates at D23 in 2017. 18×24″ and about 1″ thick (has backing and mounting hardware attached). Was also used in Disneyland for the 33rd Anniversary in 2000. Condition is excellent other than a little dust. The total size measures about 20×24. These pictures/color dont do the piece justice (looks much better in person). I also included a nice close up so you can see this is not some crappy, poor quality photo copy lol. PS: I have seen this used in other places where the artwork was reworked (in black and white in the 50th anniversary book in Paris for example) and bootlegs that have the colors much brighter and much more contrast.
