The ride opened in 1967 in Disneyland. Please see photos for size. It measures 4 1/2 inches long and can be hung on the wall. This is made from a type of plaster. It appears that one of the ears is damaged. This is old and rare. The fact that this cost over a dollar in the late 1960s probably means it was meant to be an art piece and might actually be an artist of some note from the park. But I don’t know that for sure. But still something this small costing over a dollar probably meant it had more significant than just a simple plaster pirate. This is the largest and most detailed cannon I have had. It is actually stunning how beautiful it is. It measures about 6 inches long in about 4 and 1/4 inches tall. It appears to be made of metal and wood. It is extremely well-made and very detailed. By far the best cannon I’ve ever had from Disneyland. The full disclosure it appears that this was marked down. I don’t know why it looks like it’s in great shape. Sometimes they just probably mark stuff down just to get rid of it. It appears to look in great vintage condition. It is very heavy for its size.
