Vintage large Pirate Jolly Roger Flag/Banner from a large collection of vintage Disney memorabilia and reported to be an early Disneyland Pirates of the Caribbean gift shop souvenir. This is large, measuring just under 5 feet wide at 59″ wide by 42″ tall. Has early style emblem of either felt or brushed cotton for the white color, and like the Jolly Roger from the Disney attraction, it is wearing the eye patch and red & white polkadot head scarf/bandana. Great vintage styling and in excellent condition for its age with only minor markings in areas. No holes or tears. Please see photos as they are part of the description. Yo Ho, Yo Ho! This is a Giclee on Canvas featuring John Horny’s art from 1991 that was used for the opening of Pirates at Disneyland Paris in 1992. Was also used in Disneyland for the 33rd Anniversary in 2000. Condition is excellent other than a little dust. The total size measures about 20×24. These pictures/color dont do the piece justice (looks much better in person). I also included a nice close up so you can see this is not some crappy, poor quality photo copy lol. PS: I have seen this used in other places where the artwork was reworked (in black and white in the 50th anniversary book in Paris for example) and bootlegs that have the colors much brighter and much more contrast. The ride opened in 1967 in Disneyland. It is made out sterling silver. I’m sure they exist but I haven’t seen one. Also seems to be a mistake on the price tag where it is double taxed. Which is kind of interesting. This one is more rare because generally the sterling silver charms were of characters like Mickey or the castle and not specific to a ride or attraction like this one is. This is an amazing piece from a Disneyland Pirates of the Caribbean special event. I believe it was really meant to Showcase Disneyland and Disney World Pirates of the Caribbean at the event. It has an amazing Pirates of the Caribbean base with scenes from The Ride as well as really cool Pirates of the Caribbean coins. This is just so cool. It looks like a centerpiece with coins. The base has scenes from The Ride, and in the dish part of the top there are 17 Pirates of the Caribbean coins. The coins are for Disneyland and Disney World Pirates of the Caribbean. One side of the coin says Disneyland the other says Disney World. I’m not sure if the base is just something they modified or what. There are no marks on it that I can see. The
