Sails are as crisp and new as the day it was opened. Set was built a couple of times and only displayed for a few weeks. All items in fantastic shape!!! As an adult lego collector (and AFOL), I treat all my sets and parts with the greatest of care. Usually built one or two times, displayed for a couple of weeks then sorted, bagged, re-boxed and stored. So essentially you are purchasing a new set.
