The ride opened in 1967 in Disneyland. You see this type of shackles on the ride and the pavilion. Please see photos for size. They are made from a heavy metal and are in great shape with just some minor scuffing and such. You can tell that these are well made. Because it’s a vintage piece, you can tell that it’s a much better and we’ll made piece then the type of ones they would make today. These have been in a cabinet from a Disneyland collector for decades and have remained in great shape.
